COLOURS OF PEARL
MIELA
Colours of Pearl was inspired by my years living and studying in Florence, Italy alongside my deep connection to Aotearoa. It explores identity, belonging, nature, and the feeling of home between two places. With the stars as my compass, the song also draws on Dante Alighieri’s La Divina Commedia and the idea of a physical journey also being an inner one.
